​The Spirit of Leek  series 1 - 4, are filled with old photographs of Leek along with interesting details about the images.

3. Our Society has also published smaller Chronicles (booklets)  on aspects of local history and these are sold at our meetings and also available on the book stall on the  indoor trestle market in Leek  each Saturday.

The following were published commemorating the Great War 1914-1918:

  • “Welcoming the Belgian Refugees”

  • “Foxlowe as a Red Cross Hospital”

  • “Ted Hassall Leek’s Chocolate Soldier”

We also have copies of another Chronicles  publication entitled “Leek Workers in Silk and their first trade union 1833-34”  by Paul Anderton

They cost £4 each and can be posted at an additional cost.
